About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated POS (Point of Sale) Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a POS Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of point-of-sale systems. This role requires expertise in manual installations, network cable connections, and basic carpentry work. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired for effective communication with clients. • Perform on-site installations of point-of-sale systems at client locations, ensuring equipment is properly configured and integrated.

• Conduct system upgrades and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnosing and resolving problems in a timely manner.

• Connect and route network cables, ensuring secure and reliable connections between devices and peripherals.

• Conduct on-site installation work while using basic power tools when needed, such as installing brackets, shelves, or custom enclosures to accommodate point-of-sale equipment.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to address technical concerns and provide exceptional customer service.

• Follow established procedures and documentation standards for reporting and documenting service activities, including detailed records of installations, repairs, and upgrades.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for both you and others.

• Conduct basic training procedures based on internal structure.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.

  • Proven experience in manual installations, particularly in setting up and configuring point-of-sale systems.

  • Proficiency in network cable connections and knowledge of basic carpentry techniques.

  • Fluent in Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

  • Excellent customer service skills and a client-focused approach, with the ability to maintain professionalism and composure in challenging situations.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds) and work in various physical environments, including bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
