About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate individual, someone excited to join us during our aggressive growth phase and, making our mark in the retail Point of Sale (POS) industry.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will work as a part of a dynamic and collaborative team assisting both the office and customer site technical support. You will contribute to our installation team and work closely with clients to configure, troubleshoot, and resolve any technical issues, and provide technical support to maintain the company’s hardware and software and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance.

We aim to provide clear and specified objectives during initial training. Under the general direction of management personnel, with moderate latitude for self-direction, this job requires to operate in one or more areas of responsibility within a specific department.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up POS systems for clients.
• Performing and ensuring proper installation of peripherals (office and/or customer site), operating systems, and appropriate software.
• Provide customer support on escalated cases to technical support.
• Contribute ideas/suggestions to the upper management and collaborate on new ideas that contribute to the facility.

Requirements

  • Fluently read, speak, and understand English and Spanish.

  • HS Diploma and 1-year work experience.

  • Superior organization skills, attention to detail, and appropriate motivation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office, Ethernet and wireless networking, hardware and software setup, and problem resolution.

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation.

  • Creative and outside-the-box thinking.

  • Proficiency in retail Point of Sale systems is preferred.

  • Able to meet deadlines and assume additional responsibilities as needed.

  • Willingness to contribute ideas/suggestions to the facility.
